MAVALA Cuticle Cream

As you know, I have been having dry cuticle issues ><"

All the good cuticle creams are really expensive...

I was about to buy Sally Hansen's cuticle oil then I saw 

MAVALA's cuticle cream!

MAVALA's acetone nail polish remover is really good so 

I thought I'd give the cuticle cream a try =)

So this is how it looks like...small...but who'd use so much cuticle cream!

When I saw 'CREAM'...I was expecting something white and creamy like hand cream

but inside is actually a yellowish ointment looking substance...

I guess it's called cream because it's too thick to be considered as oil...

It feels uber oily fyi...=.=...it smells bad too T___T

I can't stand putting my hands near my face now since it smells bad TT____TT

It's had it's desired effects so far...

If you compare it to the photo BEFORE I applied the cuticle cream...

You can still see the dry parts...=(

I'll have a follow up post soon to share the usefulness of the cuticle cream...

but I wouldn't buy it again just because of the awful smell it has...=(

Watermelon anyone?

There was watermelon at home so I guess I got kinda inspired =P

I haven't tried watermelon nails before so I experimented a bit =)

I'm starting to really like taking my nails from this angle!

This was my first design...the fimos didn't stick well >< 

Some fell out when I was asleep and I had to stick others on to replace them =(

The seeds were a challenge for me since blacks didn't really look like seeds...

I didn't know where to position them either =S

All in all it came out well XD

I took this right after I painted them...

Not so clear when I take the photo under my table lamp =(

This is under sunlight...

As usual my right hand has posing issues! >=/

This the second design I did...I think the plain watermelon skin nails are nice...

but the sliced watermelon design looks kinda weird to me =S

X'Mas Mani 10 - Santa & Rudolf

Hey everyone!

Haven't been posting much since it was family time during the new year hols! ^^

This is the last 2 on the 12 Days of X'Mas Manis Challenge list!
Since Christmas is looooooonnnnnngggggg over...I thought I'd combine these 2! =)

 This is a vertical view of santa =)

I got the idea for the reindeers from The Nailasaurus Reindeer X'Mas Mani...I think a lot of people did! XD

Crackle My Love

Sorry that I don't have a new design today but I ran out nail polish remover 

and the store near my place is out of stock =( 

So instead of a new design I give you swatches!! XD

X'Mas Mani 09 - A Christmas Story

Hi All! XD 

If you were checking the 12 Days of X'Mas checklist you'd know that the next mani on the list is 'A Christmas Story'!

I didn't really know what it meant by 'A Christmas Story' and when I goggled it, this popped out...

I haven't watch this movie before so I had no idea what to paint for this mani =(

So I just mixed and matched colours! =)

Green Crackle over Bright Yellow!! XD

I absolutely LOVE this combo!! 

The lighting was so nice here! =)

I wish my thumb nail would grow faster! >< 

Christmas is a long word...=(

X'Mas Mani 08 - A Christmas Carol

In my previous post, I mentioned that I had already painted 

'Dickens Christmas Carol' themed nails.

HERE THEY ARE! ^^

I got the inspiration from the 2009 Disney's A Christmas Carol starring Jim Carrey!

I think the Ghost of Christmas Future is wrong though..=(

Looks more like Assassin Creed to me ><

I tried my best. Nothing else to be done. =)
