I finally painted the right theme for the right day! Today's theme is ghost and guess who I picked as my muse!

Casper the friendly ghost...(did you just sing that sentence?)

I got the proportions wrong again but I think this is my best work using acrylic paint thus far! 

Hello nail art lovers! 
I am back in Melbourne and have access to ALL my polishes now! XD 
What is the first nail art that I did? 
If the title didn't give it away then the mani will do the thick! =P

My friend actually challenged me to do this mani! 
Then I went all Barney Stinson and said, "Challenge Accepted!"
LOL

This was a really fun mani to paint although I did get the proportions wrong again ><
That's it for this mani! Technically this isn't the mani I started the semester with. I painted my favorite Green Apple Mint from Essie topped with Nubar's Black Polkadots!

Rainbow Nerds

Peek-a-boo!!

Classes haven't started yet so I've got a lot of free time.

Waking up in the morning doesn't help either =S

Anywayz...

I found this huge as box of Rainbow Nerds at the Reject Shop.

So I decided to paint a Nerds inspired mani!

I didn't really have any inspiration...

Just a plain rainbow ombre & a purple nerd

SHINEE Dazzling Girl Inspired Mani

I am such a bad person ><

I haven't blogged since the beginning of August and it's already October...

I have been painting regularly but I haven't been posting it here ><

If you guys are curious of the mani's I've been doing since the last post...well you can follow my instagram @chronosz or you can wait till I actually get down to making a collage of them XD

So here's my Nail of the Day (NOTD) inspired by SHINEE's Dazzling Girl MV!

Sadly, I couldn't find proper pics of the inspirations lol so I'm just gonna tell you! XD

The pointer finger is inspired from Key's outfit! 

The middle finger is the feathery thing from Jonghyun's outfit.

The ring finger is from the background at the beginning of the MV!

The pinky finger is inspired from the puffy pink scarf I think that the girl wears.

Paint splatter mani!!

Elo elo!!

I've always wanted to do a paint splatter mani but it looked so messy so I didn't try it...yet!
This girl on instagram had her own image of paint splatter mani!

It was so cute I had to try it! XD

They were such good props to take photos with the mani!!

Here's a short tutorial for you guys!
The original can be found on @ohtamm's instagram! =)

1. Paint your base with white polish. I used OPI Alpine Snow (my fav). 
Don't forget the base coat!! 
2. Then use your dotting tool and put a medium sized dot on wherever on your nail and start dragging it to form a splatter shape. 
3. Repeat this on all nails till you're satisfied with the design.


GAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Weird tutorial!!

Stripes, Polkadots & Glitter Bows

I think I've done a design like this a million times!!
but who can say no to stripes, polkadots and glitter bows!!

The glitter bow came out so pretty!! XD

I wish my nails would grow faster...=(

Shall try and do a more detailed design soon 

but that's after I finish my assignments! =P

Dye It Right

Hey All!! 

Sorry I haven't been updating and all but I had a lot to do and I was recently in a traffic accident so...do forgive me ><


So! I did this mani a while ago...probably a week ago =P

So this is my left hand...I used Color Combo's CBL104 a.k.a. white polish as the base and stamped 4 different colours on top! ^^ It kinda looked like a 'dyed T-shirt'...ya know...the ones where you take a plain white T and dip it in cloth dye to form a pattern on the shirt XD Hence the title! =P

This is obviously my right hand...I didn't want to do the same colour and pattern so opted for green and yellow stripes...in a way =P


This actually all started because I wanted to try out this stamping technique this korean nail blogger uses...again...i lost the link to her blog cause my lappie crashed on me...AGAIN!!! sighhh i'll TRY to remember to save the link the next time I find it....sighhhhh
anyway...so she uses a 'i think' NOT cosmetic sponge cause you can see the texture in her photo tutorials and it soooo does not look the same as mine ><


I usually use cosmetic sponges and it sometimes peels off when it's too wet and the texture changes thus changing the pattern of the polish when I stamp it on my nails >< So...what I did was went out and looked for a relatively HARD sponge and I found one! I really wanted to try it out!!

Messy eh...well...nothing a little cleaning can' fix XD

Out with the old, In with the new?

Hey guys!

In my last post I blogged on Color Club Ms Socialite and it's 
PURPLE AWESOMENESS!

Well...the reason I was looking for a purple polish was because 
my old purple polish was dying...=(

China Glaze Free Fall & Color Club Ms Socialite

China Glaze Free Fall was the first ever China Glaze polish I ever bought!!

I really love the violet creme polish =) 

Here are some swatch comparisons though the colours are related 

but the shades are miles apart! XD

Both purple polishes are gorgeous to me!

I regret nothing!! XD

Wazzup peeps?!! 

OMG...I felt so weird after I wrote that ^

Anywayzzzz...this is one of the polishes from Nail Polish Spree 03 
that I've been meaning to review! ^^


HAVE A LOOK!

Color Club Ms. Socialite is a deep grape purple per say and it is my FAVORITE out of the spree!! XD It is opaque in 2 coats and it doesn't streak. Super easy application and I just LOVE it! <3 


Remember the 'Back to School Converse Nails' I did some time ago? 
I use Color Club Ms Socialite for the thumb nails!
Don't they look awesome now!! 


If you're looking for a dark purple creme polish...I would definitely suggest 
Color Club Ms Socialite! =)

Back To School

Hi Everyone!!!

So...it's 1.45AM now so technically my first day of class was yesterday!! =P

If you guys didn't already know but I like painting my nails to occasions so for the start of the new semester...I painted converse shoes on my nails!! ^^ 

Most students own a pair of converse shoes or something of a similar style and I've been wanting to do this design for a while now since it's just 
SUPER COOL!! XD

I googled for some designs and decided on this! It kinda looks weird since my nails are square and shoes are usually rounded!! =P
 I sooooo love pastel colours!! 8D

Start of the sem!! Shall promise to constantly update CRNailz!! =)

Sleepy~~

This is one of the manis on my 'to-do list' =D

I really wanted to do this mani because i like the 

sleeping Zzzz you always see in cartoons! XD

As for inspiration, I googled of course! ^^

I painted dark blue flowers at first but it didn't seem right to me 

so I painted white highlights onto them! XD

My friend says it looks like pajamas =P

X'Mas Mani 08 - A Christmas Carol

In my previous post, I mentioned that I had already painted 

'Dickens Christmas Carol' themed nails.

HERE THEY ARE! ^^

I got the inspiration from the 2009 Disney's A Christmas Carol starring Jim Carrey!

I think the Ghost of Christmas Future is wrong though..=(

Looks more like Assassin Creed to me ><

I tried my best. Nothing else to be done. =)

X'Mas Mani 07 - Snow Love

I know I've been slow with updates...><"

I was having a Boys Over Flowers marathon! =P

Anywayz...my friend Huey Shan...do you guys remember her?

She was in my first post!

Yeah! This girl! XD

She had a X'Mas Eve wedding to attend and asked me to paint her nails for her! ^^

After a bit of googling we decided on snowflakes and snowmen! =)

She took this photo while I was painting her nails!

My hand shook when I was painting the thumb so it ended up being a vampire snowman! =P

I had fun painting the snowmen for her so I picked snowmen for the next design! ^^

I find this design really REALLY beautiful!! 

So! I decided to follow the steps and try it out myself!

The Result!

Colours Used:

Base - China Glaze Millenium

Black - OPI I Only Date Werewolves

White - Color Club Oooooo La La

Top Coat - Essie Matte About You

I never knew how pretty China Glaze Millenium was till I tried this!

The roses took me forever to draw! Especially on my right hand!
I'm right handed

It came out pretty nice!

This design was on my nails till like 10 minutes ago though =P
