NDLacquers - A Night in Cannes Swatch

Elo elo!
I've got another NDLaquers swatch for you and if you've read the previous post then you'll know what you're in for!

Say hello to 'A Night in Cannes'.

A Night in Cannes is a turquoise jelly polish with aqua and maroon flakes! I fell in love the moment I saw the swatch!
The colour in the photos above are achieved with 4-5 layers. Since it's a jelly polish, it is super sheer but the glitter makes it opaque so remember to spread the glitter evenly for a nice opaque shade.

Can't wait for Natali to make more!
Check out her etsy shop!

Till next time!

Instagram inspired

Helllllooooooooooo!!!
You should all know by now that I instagram a lot =P
----> @chronosz <----

There are so many awesome nail artists on insta and is a great way of getting inspiration for new mani ideas. So here's a mani I did referring to a tutorial on insta by this girl @simplenailartdesigns.

I am currently obsessed with effects so please excuse the effects and just stare at the mani XD
Here's another cliche from the Blast from the Past post!
I know I have no sense of colour coordination but I think maroon goes great with gold! Don't you?

This is a pretty simple mani to do but you have to be careful since the lines gotta be straight to be nice. I suggest a good stripping brush for this mani!

Cheers!

Blast into the past

Long time no see everyone!!
I'm sorry I haven't been posting much ><
I've been busy with classes and stuff and kinda lazy too...
I'm currently in Melbourne now doing the final year of my degree! ^^

I've checked my list and I've got like 10+ manis to post up D8
So here's from where I left off!
I did this mani at the end of June.

OK! So I got the inspiration for this from a book!
You know those really old leather cover books with the gold fonts?!
I found it so pretty that I just had to paint it =)

Took pics of it with one of my necklaces...looks good yeah XD

Well! Here's to my come back post!!
Shall watermark the rest of the pics so that I won't have an excuse not to post anymore! XD

Cheers!

Essie Winter Mini Collection 2010

你好吗?
Hey peeps!! ^^
As promised! Here are the swatches for the
Essie Winter Mini Collection 2010 polishes!!

From left: SIlken Cord, Masquerade Belle, Hot Coco, Going Incognito

NOW ON TO THE SWATCHES!!!! XD

First up comes Silken Cord!
When I first saw the bottle I thought it would be a deep striking red BUT
when I applied it...it turned out to be more of a cherry sort of red!

The polish is a little darker IRL (in real life)...
In the photo is looks red but with a tint of orange in it! ^^
But it really is a more cherry shade IRL! XD

Next up is Masquerade Belle!
This polish a dark maroon polish!

This is an absolutely beautiful colour!
Reminds me of a really ripe cherry! ^^

Hot Coco is a normal taupe polish!

The polish is lighter IRL...
(I'm not sure what else to write since I'm still new at polish reviews...)

The last polish in the Essie Winter Mini Collection 2010 is
Going Incognito!
This is a dark green polish.
Actually the whole reason I bought the collection was for this polish!
I had hoped to use this in my Christmas manis but since it wouldn't arrive in time I opted for Sally Hansen's Emerald Green which is a more shimmer type of dark green polish.

You gotta love this polish! ^^

That's the end of the review!! XD
After purchasing the mini set I don't think
I want to get the normal sized bottles anymore! =P
This is more worth the money but not all the shades
that I want would be a mini so it really does depend! ^^

More to come! So stay tuned!

Cheers!
