Pokemon Fever

Hey all!

Haven't edited the latest mani but watch out for it on my instagram @chronosz

In the meantime, remember my Easter Togepi nails?

Well, I didn't stop at just togepi and I've been meaning to do a pokemon mani for quite some time. If some of you don't remember easter togepi, here's a photo for you guys!

The second pokemon I painted was Pikachu! Chuuuuuuu~~~~

All the designs are done using acrylic paint and I usually paint a layer of white to make the colours of the design pop. The trouble with acrylic paint is that sometimes, it needs a thick layer to get full coverage and poor pikachu succumbed to this disease. It was the only pokemon that was lumpy. *cries in a corner*

On the other hand! I tried painting pokemon so that's an accomplishment. The third pocket monster I painted was Bulbasaur! Bulba!!!! Truthfully, I always pick bulbasaur as my primary pokemon cause nature power man and he's so cute! Bulbasaur came out pretty nicely and is one of my favourites although I did make his bulb a little too big. I really need to work on my dimensions.

The last pokemon was supposed to be Charmander but it didn't work out and I didn't like what I painted so Charmander is not in the photo. *You have failed to capture charmander*

Back to the drawing board with that one but oh well, at least I tried. Maybe I should just have a collage of failed designs...nahhhhhh

That's it for this post!
Cheers!

Have An Easter Togepi!

Hi all!

Happy Early Easter! I actually had the urge to paint pokemon since I haven't attempted it before and since Easter is coming...how about a cute egg pokemon?! 😆

Please welcome to the blog - Easter Togepi!

I'm actually quite impressed with the overall result considering that I haven't painted free hand for a while.

Colours Used :

Base | Gelist Clear Gel Base, Pa
White | OPI
Other colours | Acrylic Paint

I shall attempt to paint other pokemons soon!

That's it for this post!
Cheers!

Beauty World Oil-In-Cuticle Pen Review

Hello all!

So here I am sitting at the dining table with my laptop while le boyfriend and le sis-in-law have a chat about me. XD Thought I would blog a while.

Getting back to my Japan Nail Polish Haul - this is the first product that I used - the

Beauty World Oil-In-Cuticle Pen

I actually tried it out at the store but I think the sample was already dried out from the cap being missing and all. I bought it anyway since I didn't have a proper cuticle softener..I just trim them after pushing them.

As per the name, you just have to use it normally as you were to clean your cuticle and the oil will flow out enough to smoothen the movement. My review? I love it! All I have to do is push my cuticles back then move them in a circular motion under the cuticle to remove all the dead skin. After that, just trim the cuticle as per usual.

My cuticles are in love with it and so am I. This is the first thing I reach for when I need to clean up my cuticles. Friends in Japan, expect me to ask some favours soon! =P

That's it for this post!
Cheers!

Happy St Patty's Day!

Hi guys!

I'm finally back from Japan and coincidentally I'm just in time for St Patty's Day!

I couldn't wait to start using my new polishes I got from Japan! These are the colours I used:

Yellow - Bon Bon
Green - Bon Bon
Clover - Sally Hansen
Glitter - Pa
Top Coat - Glisten & Glow HK Girl
Base Coat - Essie Nail Hardener
Gel Base - Gelist Clear Base

Yes...I started using gel! I'm quite happy with the gel since it makes my nail hard and strong. I'm still looking for a new brand of nail polish remover and a place that sells 100% pure acetone...

Look forward to my nail haul from Japan! I'm so excited and you should be too!

That's it for this post!
Cheers!
