Wet 'n' Wild Black Creme

This polish was on my 'Need To Get List'!

I've read a lot of good reviews about this black polish 

so I ordered a bottle to see how real the reviews were

especially since I was looking for a new black polish! XD

I tried taking the photos at different angles but the sun wouldn't cooperate! ><

I was also experimenting with my new Revlon Fast Drying Top Coat too

so the shine is kinda weird and reflective compared to Seche Vite.

Unlike the black polish I've tried out so far like The Faceshop BK901, and

OPI I Would Date Werewolves...I had to paint 2 layers for it to be opaque...

The other polishes only needed 1 layer...

Next, I used it for designs but the formula wasn't thick enough for painting designs...

I'm quite disappointed with this polish =(

I guess I have to go black polish hunting again...

Topshop Christmas Polishes

So this is one of the swatch posts that I've been meaning to post up! 
Topshop Christmas Polishes!!
I got these from my Singapore trip back in January...
It was a kind of 3 for 2 sale so I just got some since they were cheaper! XD

From left: Awol, Moonshine, Remember My Name


It came in a cute zipper bag too! XD 
Now on to the swatches!!! 


First up is AWOL!

Awol is a sky blue polish. 
It is opaque in 3 layers!


The next polish is MOONSHINE!

Moonshine is a gold silvery polish.
I don't know why it came out as a gold shimmer in the photo 
but I swear it's a gold silvery shimmer polish! XD
Good polish for dinner events but it streaks as you can tell so 
try and apply it in 1 or 2 strokes! =D


Last polish from the pack is REMEMBER MY NAME!

Remember My Name reminds me of a really retro pink polish! 
Makes me wanna do a polka dot mani with it! 
This polish is also opaque in 3 layers.

Denim of the Jean Nails

Hey there nail art lovers! XD

So this is one from my 'To-do List'

It was kinda hard to do!! ><"

I saw this REALLY REALLY awesome denim design 
that this korean nail blogger did but I forgot to save the link 
so I don't know where to find it anymore...=(

I remember that she used zipper stickers and she stuck them on really nicely! 

I tried to draw a zipper but it totally failed >< 

I still think that it needs more work =( 

I'm very content with them tho! 

I used China Glaze First Mate for this mani 
and it is so PERFECT for my skin tone! XD

I'll try to be more in a blogging mood for all the swatches that I've put off so far! ><

Comic strips OR Mickey Mouse?

Here I am again! XD

So I got out of my lazy streak a couple of days ago and did something simple...

AGAIN!

I actually did random dots until I decided on this design...=S
So obviously the POW! on my thumb nail kinda makes it a comic strip design 

but the mickey shape that I TRIED to draw on my pointer makes it a MM design...

I wanted to paint comic strip nails but I ran out of white polish =( 

My new Alpine Snow will only arrive in late Feb T___T

On another note, while I was dotting my nails I was thinking...

"How the hell do people dot so perfectly??!!"

Mine looks like crap ><

All the dots are not perfect circles...and the sizes differ...

I guess practice makes perfect eh?

If you have a trick that I could use to paint better dots! Do tell me! XD

So this is it for now! Let's see what I can do with my other colours since white is out!

Come to think of it!

Valentines is nearing! Shall see what I can whip up! XD

CNY Fever

Hey guys!! Sorry that I haven't uploaded in a while...

I've been so lazy ever since the first day of Chinese New Year! =P

Anywayz...this is something I painted on after my first CNY design.

It's really simple since I didn't really have enough time and sleep for a more complicated one! 

Red crackle over gold glitter!

This is an easy CNY design using CNY colours! XD

My aunt actually thought that I sprinkled gold glitter over red polish LOL

People that haven't seen crackle polish before would probably think that! 

It's already the 10th day of Chinese New Year!

Awwwww man! 5 more days to go till Chap Goh Meh...=(

Happy Chinese New Year Everyone! ^^

I was pretty busy with CNY preparations yesterday 

so I could only do a simple design 

I also painted my aunt's nails for CNY...I'll show you that mani some other time!

For now...NOTD!!

I did a gold and silver gradient using Essie Silken Cord, Glitter Gal Bronze and Glitter Gal Silver!
The chinese character on my thumb nail is 福。

It means happiness or good fortune =)
